The Evolution of Nerds on TV

I must say that without the “nerd characters” in a TV sitcom, the chances of success is greatly reduced. Why? Because, many people could identify with them since every one of us has a nerd bone in our body. We laugh at them because we can see ourselves with the nerd characters on TV. One such example is the character of Ugly Betty to name a few. I am pretty sure that viewers will agree with me that these nerd characters on TV have made the show more attractive to women because deep inside, they have an Ugly Betty persona in them.
