New issues facing America’s youth

In 2008, the American education gap deprived the US economy of as much as $2.3 trillion in economic output. This gap has been steadily growing over the last few decades and has proven to be 30%-40& larger among children born in 2001 than those born 25 years earlier.
The education disparity affects differing ethic origins, income levels and school systems, but is not the only challenge that is facing America’s youth today.
Struggles with obesity, single-parent households and violence in schools are other issues plaguing the US and being suffered by children.
